I used to categories things in black or white – there were never any grey areas to me.
Was I being childish and naive? I stopped categorising things in such a way a long time ago, when I realised doing so wouldn’t change anything – except boxing in my own thoughts and reactions.
Black and white have always been the ultimate colours in fashion – every girl needs a little black dress and a little white dress. Black and white can be worn for all occasions, and they’re not at all boring either if you choose the right design or style.
My closet used to be full of just these two colours; now I’m more adventurous in my styling and the colours in my closet seem a lot more fun and “happy”.
A safer way to add bold colours into your outfit is through accessories – so you won’t need to buy a whole new wardrobe if most of your current clothes are black and white.
Stay true to yourself – if that means wearing only black or white, then do it! Nonetheless, always be kind to others and yourself; don’t judge people by their colour, and there’s really no need to see life in only two colour tones.
Many things are grey – and in this case, they are gold and yellow!

Yellow /ˈjɛloʊ/ is the color of gold, butter and ripe lemons. In the spectrum of visible light, and in the traditional colour wheel used by painters, yellow is found between green and orange.
Yellow is commonly associated with gold, wealth, sunshine, reason, happiness, optimism and pleasure, but also with envy, jealousy and betrayal. It plays an important part in Asian culture, particularly in China.
Gold is a chemical element with the symbol Au and atomic number 79. It is a dense, soft, malleable and ductile metal with a bright yellow colour and lustre, the properties of which remain without tarnishing when exposed to air or water.
Gold (colour), also called golden, is one of a variety of yellow-brown colour blends used to give the impression of the colour of the element gold. The first recorded use of golden as a colour name in English was in 1300 to refer to the element gold and in 1423 to refer to blonde hair.
