Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year 2015 fall very close together this year.
I really hope it’s going to be a sweet Year of the Goat after the last Horse year full of unwanted tragedies and accidents.
I always wear red for Chinese New Year because red denotes luck and prosperity in Chinese culture – and it also happens to be the colour of Valentine’s Day too (alongside pink!).
A good dress should be timeless – like this dress from Melissa Bui, which I wore to London Fashion Week last September. A good dress is also eco-friendly because you will wear it over and over again… so I’ve been trying to think of a style that would fit both Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year. How about about this one…
In this dress, I can be an elegant lady going for a romantic night with The One, a respectful daughter sitting at the family dinner table for Chinese New Year, and a happy girl just enjoying wearing something that makes her feel great.
Triple happiness!!!
