In the blink of an eye, January 2016 has already come to an end… So let me shout to myself, “What?! How did this happen?!”
How come time seems to pass much quicker as we get older? I keep thinking about what I was doing this time last year, and it feels like yesterday. My little sister is probably yawning when she hears me saying this, this whole “feeling old and missing every second” sentiment. She’s only 16, and I guess I felt the same way when I was at her age; after all, she has all the time in the world!
Chinese New Year is coming up, and next year will be the Year of the Monkey. I really should follow the tradition and wear something red and gold for good fortune, like I did in previous years:

I will be spending CNY in Suzhou this year; it’s where my dad is from, and Chinese families usually follow where their father goes. I spent all of my CNYs in Suzhou during my childhood but haven’t been able to visit the past few years due to work obligations – so I’m really looking forward to our big family gathering this year!
Also, I “fell in love” with a man in January… well, I don’t actually know him and have never met him before, but I am head over heels for him!
He is… T.O.P from BigBang, South Korea. Haha – I know it’s a bit weird to start crushing on a pop star at my age but hey, he’s super adorable!!! 🙂
