Yes, it’s hot in Hong Kong and people are starting to wear shorts and skirts. However, because it’s Hong Kong people need to carry an extra jacket or coat to go into the heavily air-conditioned indoor space.
This summer, be ready to embrace an irregular trend; LEATHER! You heard right, short leather skirts, short leather pants; they’re the hottest thing this season. Of course they are not your regular leather, they are specially made to not keep you warm but to make you look fabulously cool.
I found my perfect leather items at Bally for the season.
Dress: HK$39,990
You can hardly go wrong with a black & white one-shouldered draped leather dress like this – bring in some color with this pair of Grevas sandals.
Still think it’s a bit…too cool?
There’s a surprise for you at the back, the bow detail gives you the right girly sweetness.
Sandals: HK$6,390
Match the outfit with this Ponga clutch for the ultimate going out look. (You can carry it in your hand or carry it on your shoulder with the attached chains)
Clutch: HK$25,790
I intended to just pick 1 of my favorite looks, but it is just not possible! And I don’t think I can find a better air-soft leather coat anywhere else!
Bally told me this Bianco and champagne bi-colored knee-length coat has perforation cut by a laser.
Talk about high-tech and high fashion!
Leather coat: HK$54,990
The blue dress I wear here belongs to Bally’s Hero pieces, this specific lace bustier dress can almost be considered hand made with its hand-cut edges and hand-applied leather leaf motifs.
I have to say, I feel like wearing the right amount of clothes walking around in Bally’s IFC store branch.
The exotic wedge – Piper HK$15,590
Blue Ollie-SM: HK$12,790
Dress: HK$99,990
