(From My column on Butterboom)
For shopaholics, stepping into Lane Crawford is like stepping into a house made of candy for kids. I go there when I am happy or sad, I go there to shop or just to look at the beautiful things; I go there at least once every week.
Lane Crawford carries a variety of designer brands from around the world with many different categories and price levels. So no matter what your shopping budget is, you can always find something there.
For me, Lane Crawford is my one-stop shopping destination to find the perfect garment which can stand the test of time.
This month’s WTS, I picked out items from Alice and Olivia, Stella McCartney (read in Part 2) and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Alice and Olivia dress: HKD4,200
Trends go in and out of style, and while I agree that a girl should always keep a good LBD (little black dress) in her closet; I also think a nicely designed white dress deserves the same status if not more.
If you are a brave one, then you must not let this black/white dual fabric Alice and Olivia half lacey dress get away! With the right amount of black in white and the cut out back, this sophisticated dress presents a girl in her most feminine silhouette which is both elegant and chic.
3.1 Philip Lim envy woven jacket: HKD11,390
Having a sleek jacket like this 3.1 Philip Lim one – consisting of 2 layers – means you never have to buy another jacket. Wear only the sleeveless one, the long sleeves one or both; you can play with the color contrast, create a whimsical graphic effect or change the shape as you wish.
This is what I call, having fun with fashion.
