What were you all doing this time last year?
I found a series of photos that never got published last year…why? I don’t remember…
What the “rabbit” was going on when I put this outfit together? I don’t know…
Don’t get me wrong, I love this look I pulled off~ And together with this set of images which I looked like a SUPER quirky rabbit person, it might also be the perfect opportunity to give you some good explanation regarding a often asked question.
Why the rabbit icon?
Firstly, I was born in the year of the Rabbit according to Chinese Zodiac calendar.
Secondly, my first pet was a rabbit.
Thirdly, I like the Chinese folk story where the rabbit was the only precious animal that was allowed on the moon with the fairy.
Fourthly, rabbits are cute.
Fifthly, I want to send a message out to everyone that no matter how small you think you are; you can still make an impact in the world.
Be iconic, be you; and remember size doesn’t matter.
Lastly, my sister was born in the year of Rabbit too and I love her to bits, so that’s why the rabbit symbol was a good choice to represent my blog.
Honestly, I could go on and on and on about the reason behind using an rabbit as part of my logo. However, I don’t want to bore you all to death, maybe half of you already looked away. :p
Back to styling, side opening skirt was a big hit last summer and while it is sexy and feminine; I paired that up with some edgy accessories to give it a vibe upgrade.
A geeky me? A crazy bunny girl?
Be experimental, make a difference and you will realize every tiny step you take will eventually lead you to something big!
It’s nice to dig out something that was forgotten/lost in the memory lane, and still inspires me now.
Try finding yours this summer.
